There will be a warning order posted soon to advise of the swim test to be held over 2 consecutive parades: Thursday 2nd and 9th of May. The second week is for those who have exams the first week. All must do the swim test even if you can swim and hold a lifesavers certificate. I will need notes from any cadet who can not swim so I can build a log of who is safe to do water activities.
Please read the warning order and acknowledge to your PL SGT that you have received the necessary information.

This Saturday (16th February) at Timor Barracks, Dundas there will be an assessment day to select candidates for the RSM-A's Drill Competition. This competition was previously a part of the Chief of Army Cadet Team Challenge.
The selection process will run from 0900-1500hrs. All candidates are to have full NOK/HMP, as well as their Cadet ID Card. Dress of the day is DO4A Barracks Dress (with Hat KFF). Cadets are to provide their own lunches, and full water bottles are required for the day.
Although this is open to all cadets, keep in mind that a very high standard of drill, dress and bearing is required. Make your decisions accordingly.
Anyone that is interested is to contact me NLT the end of this week (14 FEB 13)'s parade.

During the past week, the following cadets have attended NSW BDE and 22 AAC BN Promotions Courses:
- CDTSGT Jonathan Khonasti (SLC Mod 2)
- CDTCPL Mukul Suresh (SLC Mod 1)
- CDTLCPL Jeffrey Liu (JLC)
- CDTLCPL Don Do (JLC)
- CDTLCPL Shahrokh Aryana (JLC)
- CDT Nancy Zou (JLC)
All of these cadets have passed their courses with expectations exceeded, and are all now qualified for the respective ranks of CUO/CDTWO2 (SLC Mod 2), CDTSGT (SLC Mod 1) and CDTCPL (JLC).

Good luck to CUO Wing Si Ha, who will be instructing on the 1/2013 Senior Leaders Course (Module 1) tomorrow, and CDTSGT Leo Qiang, who will be staffing the 1/2013 Junior Leaders Course. Both candidates will be proficiently passing down all their accumulated knowledge and experience to the students on their respective courses.

In addition to the two cadets attending the Senior Leaders Course, we also wish the following members of BHHSACU all the best for the Junior Leaders Course this Saturday, to be held at Timor Barracks at Dundas.
Good luck to CDT Nancy Zou, CDTLCPL Shahrokh Aryana, CDTLCPL Don Do and CDTLCPL Jeffrey Liu, who we are confident will all contribute their best skills of coursemanship and teamwork to achieve success in their first leadership course, and will provide BHHSACU with quality junior NCOs to lead sections, and potentially lead the unit in the future.

Good luck to CDTCPL Mukul Suresh and CDTSGT Jonathan Khonasti who will be representing BHHSACU on the 1/2013 NSW BDE Senior Leaders Course (Module 1) and Module 2, respectively, this Saturday. We wish them well on their courses and hope to see a new Cadet Sergeant and Cadet Under Officer to lead the unit into 2014 and beyond.
